おかげさまで初シーズンを無事に終え、あたらしく秋冬商品が入荷いたしました。
それにともない、商品とイメージ撮影も更新することになり、先日の撮影を様子をすこしご報告。
自分の中でVEGANIEのコンセプトのひとつとしていつも意識している”Journey（旅）”という言葉。
自分自身、かなりハードワークな毎日を送っていたのですが、
そんな中でエシカルというキーワードに出会って、じぶんの人生は少しずつ向きを変え、
違った水平線、違った人生の街並みをのぞむことができました。
VEGANIEこそ、ひとつのながい旅であり、だれかの人生の旅にパッと偶然重なったり、
寄り添ったりする、そういう存在でありたいと願っていたのです。
それは具体的に知らないものを見て体験する旅もあるのですが、自分とむき合って、想像したり、
瞑想したり、こころの旅も含まれます。
ジョンレノンのImagineという名曲も、まさにこころの旅。
ほんとうは、日本から一歩もでなくても、もしかするとその場所から動かなくても、
人生をたのしんだり、自分以外のできごとを想うことはできるのかもしれません。
この秋冬は、そんな”心の旅-spiritual journey” をコンセプトに、ビジュアルを製作しました。
ビジュアルの背景にある、草木が並び灰色と黒がまじったような壁は、実はチームのみんなの汗と努力の賜物。
撮影のある前の週末に、チームが集合し、漆喰を練る作業から、塗って、
草木をスタンプのように押す作業まで１日かけて完成したのです。
漆喰を丁寧に塗る、ADの針谷さんとPhotographerのYoshikiさん。
このあと、慣れない姿勢のせいで二人にすさまじい筋肉痛がおそうことに・・・
２日乾燥させ、ようやく完成した壁を壁に立てかけ、照明器具をセッティング。
たくさんの光があたると、壁も何か異空間のように見えてきます。みんなドキドキの瞬間。
何度も照明の強さや向きを変えて、テストシューティング。これに１時間かかります。
ちょっと、おふざけ。UOMOの表紙かしら？とおもうかどうかはあなた次第。笑
ヘアメイクをしてくださったNanuk津崎さんをはじめスタッフの方々、モデルのミムラちゃん、フォトグラファーのyoshikiさん、アクセサリーを貸してくださったコロリーダスの大輪さん、WEBデザインをいつもしてくれているKanaさん。そしてチームのハリーさん、コバさん、長田さん。
みなさんのおかげで、AWもこだわりのつまったビジュアルが完成しました。
インドの生産者の女性に共有したら、どれだけ喜ぶだろう・・・こころから感謝もうしあげます。
Thanks to your support, we had a great result on SS, just launched our AW collection finally.
I just would like share with you behind the scenes of our shooting AW.
I always have been thinking of the word “journey” as one of VEGANIE’s concept. When I think of my life, I could meet this ethical work by coincidently and it changed my life drastically but thanks for that happening, I could see the horizon and view unseen in my life. I can say that VEGANIE is a journey itself, I just hope it would be the one which get close and meet some one’s journey of life accidentally.
The journey includes not only physical journey to visit somewhere and have a new experience but more internal journey in your mind, like a imagination or mediation. So to say, John Lennon’s “Imagine” is telling you to have a internal journey. Probably we can enjoy our life perfectly and take care of other people and world. I just place this ” Spiritual Journey” as our AW concept.
The black and gray wall behind the model was been made by my team members, it’s a fruit of efforts. They mix and put the plaster on the wall spending all day. After that, setting the lights for shooting. It takes more an hour to adjust the brightness and direction of light.
